With over 20 years of experience in the field, Dalila has established herself as reliable and respected in the Procurement Industry. She has a proven track record of success in developing and executing procurement strategies ensuring sustainable cost savings and optimal customer value.   She is an effective communicator and negotiator who can build strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders. She is passionate about mentoring and developing the next generation of procurement professionals.

Elsy Fabian has been working as an Avocado Buyer at Index Fresh since 2021.  She enjoys fostering good business relationships with the Mexican packers. Elsy has worked as a Buyer for the past 6 years.  She has a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and is certified as a Buyer, Certified in Logistics and Supply Chain and Certified as an English/Spanish translator.

“My goal is to continue growing as a Buyer, or other growth opportunities here at Index Fresh and hopefully retire from this company.”

Wendy joined Index Fresh in 2015 as International Logistics Assistant.  In this role, she coordinated all export shipments from Mexico to Asia, alongside the Sales Representatives.

In 2018, Wendy was promoted to Buyer Assistant. There she was responsible for supporting the Sourcing Department with activities and communication associated with daily fruit purchases with the buyers. She also began assisting the Buyers when needed.

In 2022, Wendy became a Buyer in October of 2022.  In her new role, she negotiates pricing with Mexican packers daily to cover the needs for our sales team.

Jackalyn joined the Index Fresh team as an Office Coordinator in 2017.  With her hard work, Jackalyn was recognized and promoted to Account Manager in 2019. In this role, Jackie focused her efforts on inventory control and account management for multiple outside distributions and pre-conditioning centers.  Most recently, in December of 2022, Jackie transitioned to the Procurement Department as a Supply Chain Analyst. Her goal is to expand her knowledge within the company and provide additional support to the Index Fresh team in fulfilling all customers’ needs and expectations.

When Teresa was growing up, she worked in fields of mainly herbs with her family in Southern California on school nights, weekends and holidays. This has given her a bigger appreciation and understanding for growers their work that she values.  In 2016, Teresa graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with an International Business Degree. Teresa was ready to begin her career.   She joined the Index Fresh team in June 2016 as a Sourcing Support Assistant and quickly transitioned to Import Claims Analyst.   She views the importance of her role and how resourceful it can be. Teresa looks forward to building growth and success at Index Fresh.
