One of the critical time frames in avocado farming occurs during the spring bloom, but if you wait until then to prepare the trees, you’re too late. Many factors influence next year’s fruit set. Some are outside of the grower control, but you can make a big difference in the outcome of next year’s crop if you anticipate and act now. This presentation will outline some of the tasks growers should be addressing and implementing during the fall to optimize next year’s fruit set and crop size.
